Dr. Michael Abrahams

Medical Doctor & Children’s Advocate

Dr. Michael Abrahams is also a human rights advocate, writer and social commentator
with decades of professional and public-service experience. He is the founder of HOPE (Helping Others Progress Emotionally), which supports women who have experienced miscarriages, stillbirths and newborn deaths and founder of Protect Our Children, a children’s rights advocacy group. He has also served with the Jamaica Cancer Society and Jamaicans for Justice. A Gleaner columnist and award-winning opinion journalist, Dr. Abrahams brings a distinctive perspective to conversations surrounding women, children, emotional well-being, advocacy and the social issues affecting individuals and families.

Owen “Blakka” Ellis, JP

Educator & Entertainer

Owen “Blakka” Ellis, JP, is also a writer, educator and scholar with more than four
decades of experience as one of Jamaica’s leading comedic entertainers. His international career has included work as an actor, musician, comedian, motivational speaker and trainer, alongside extensive writing for stage, screen and television. He has also made significant contributions to education in Jamaica and Canada. Ellis currently serves as a Senior Lecturer at the Edna Manley College of the Visual & Performing Arts, adjunct faculty member at the Management Institute for National Development and Instructor/Coach for the Tourism Entertainment Academy.

Tishauna Mullings is a soft skills expert known for her engaging presence,
professionalism and ability to connect meaningfully with audiences. An experienced facilitator and communicator, she has hosted conferences, panel discussions, corporate events and community engagements internationally, bringing warmth, energy and seamless flow to every stage. Tishauna has a special connection to the Mental Fitness Conference, having hosted its inaugural staging. She returns as Conference Host for the 3rd Annual Mental Fitness Conference 2026, bringing both familiarity and fresh energy as she guides participants through a day of expert insights, practical conversations, interactive learning and meaningful engagement.
